The award will be presented on November 19 in Miami, United States.
The award recognizes Alvo’s leadership in LATAM’s transformation during one of the most challenging periods in the history of the airline industry, namely the COVID-19 pandemic. Since assuming the role of CEO in March 2020, he has led the company through a comprehensive financial restructuring, laying the foundations to strengthen its resilience and long-term growth.
Under his leadership, LATAM achieved its strongest financial performance to date, accelerated its digital transformation and advanced its operational efficiency. Throughout this process, Alvo also placed a strong emphasis on people, supporting the dedication and commitment of the more than 44,000 employees who make up the Group across the region.
